About Youngsville

Youngsville was originally settled as the town of Pacific, having eventually changed their name to honor John "Jack" Young for the gift of land to build a train depot. The building of the train depot allowed Youngsville to ride a swing of prosperity and industry, becoming one of the largest tobacco markets in the South. This industrial and agrarian blend is still felt in the downtown area of Youngsville to this day. At present day, Youngsville is a charming small town to the north-east of Raleigh, and is popular for its rural charm and relative convenience to the Triangle.
